Dear readers...

Dear visitors,

After a two year break I joined work. Happy about that, but sad to say that its been like 6 months since I played something on the keyboard. The only time I ever touch it is when I dust it :) So people, I really can't honor your song requests at this time. Thank you for visiting! Hope my blog helped you.

Earlier post:

My dear loyal visitors,

I appreciate your taking the time to navigate my blog and leave a word of appreciation on it. Thanks you, thank you, thank you so much! One thing that's common among most comments is request for more songs. Well, when I started this blog, I had all the time in this world. But today, as I type this post, there are hazaar other things I'm pre-occupied with and sadly, playing the piano has taken a back seat. :( One new song a month is all I can learn. I already have a list of songs that I really really want to learn -

  1. tere liye from Veer Zaara
  2. khuda jaane from Bachna Ae Haseeno
  3. saanson ko saansein from Hum Tum
  4. tanha tanha from Rangeela
  5. guzarish from Ghajini
  6. aaona from Kyun Ho Gaya na
  7. om jai jagdish - aarti song
  8. kondalalo nelakonna - Annamayya keerthana
  9. main agar kahoon from Om Shanti Om
  10. nenani neevani from Telugu movie Kotta Bangaru Lokam
  11. jadoo hai nasha hai from Jism
This list is in no particular order.

Also, many of you have asked for notations for new songs. Well, my timeline in India stopped in Sept '07. That's when I moved to the US of A. I don't keep myself updated with what's new in bollywood. So, henceforth, I'll add a link: "Request a Song" wherein you ask-I answer :) This would be once I'm done with the above list of songs.

Once again, thank you all for those nice words and encouragement!

@ Ankita,

Thank you for visiting my blog regularly..

If you actually scroll down to the bottom of each post, you'll find a legend that indicates which background style and voices were used.. Some of the recent posts have that. Will remember to update the older ones with this info.

Hi Manjusha,

During my attempts in finding Music Notes from various websites, i happen to reach your blog and since then i never thought of further investigation or research as your notes is extremely Helpful. Its not only motivating a new learner like me but also boosting my confidence.

I am extremely thankful to you and i am glad to join this blog.

I am from Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. I am also intrested in learning telugu songs ( as being Telugite ) apart from Hindi.

Is it possible for you to post the Notes for Telugu songs as well ( if i am not demanding too much ).

you may also e-mail them to

Thanks a Ton!!

@ Sandeep,

For some reason, I find telugu songs hard to play. "ninnu kori varnam" is the only one I can play, that too without chords. Anyways, "eto vellipoindi manasu" has been on my list for quite some time now. Will try to work that out.

Thanks for the comment btw..

Hi Manjusha
I have joined your blog today. I have been playing instruments for a long time now. Music comes naturally to me. I have been playing on my own and I have never learnt thru any guru. I was toying with the idea of starting a blog where in I can provide musical notations and as such started a blog at
I joined your blog as your other friends can visit my site for notations. Pl do not think otherwise. I am new to blogging and as such I know very little about blogging tools. Pl visit my site nd give me your comments.
